Cadillac to Sponsor 2006 CMAA National Club Championship
ALEXANDRIA, VA – January 23, 2006 – The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Cadillac, which will contribute to the continued momentum of both organizations. A major element of the partnership will see Cadillac as the title sponsor of CMAA’s 2006 National Club Championship. The 2006 National Club Championship will occur in the fall of 2006; currently the date and location are still in negotiations.

Representatives from Cadillac will be present at CMAA’s Annual World Conference on Club Management being held in Honolulu, HI, from February 26 to March 2. This intensive week of education and networking for CMAA’s members and industry vendors is a prime venue for CMAA and Cadillac to kick off this new relationship.

The CMAA National Club Championship is an annual amateur golf competition for club champions from across the United States and abroad. In the history of golf, the club championship is one of golf’s most venerable and prestigious annual tournaments. CMAA’s National Club Championship is an extension of this celebrated event, providing a national platform for club champions to compete at the highest level. The 2005 tournament was held at the Pinehurst Resort in November with Steve Harwell of River Run Golf and CC in Davidson, NC, taking home the title.
