Publisher of industry leading The Wire e-newsletter broadens apparel scope
(ORLANDO, FLA.) The Golf Press Association, publisher of The Wire, announces the creation of The Apparel Wire (www.apparelwire.com), an e-newsletter devoted specifically to that area of the golf industry.
"Apparel is a major section of the golf industry and yet there are a limited number of vehicles that allow the apparel companies to get their message out," said Alex Miceli, president of the Golf Press Association.
The Apparel Wire will launch on Monday, April 3, and be distributed three times a week to golf professionals, industry and media members. Content will include stories and news regarding clothing, shoe, headwear, glove and accessory companies.
The publication’s format will be similar to the successful The Wire publication (www.golfbusinesswire.com) that was launched in August 2001 and has become the leading industry e-newsletter.
In addition to daily news and information, an apparel guide featuring business listings will be launched in June and two fashion show guides introducing the Fall and Spring product lines will be published in January and September, respectively.
