IRVINE, CA – Element 21 Golf Company (E21) reported recently that Mr. Bill Dey has joined the company as Executive Vice-President and General Manager.
Dey, an accomplished golf industry executive, has been involved in the golf industry since the late 1980s. His most recent success was as Senior Vice President & General Manager Global for Tommy Armour Golf. Under his stewardship, Tommy Armour Golf experienced growth from $400k to $48 million in a three-year period. "I have a passion for both golf and the golf industry, and am excited to bring this new technology to the market, lead by the performance of E21’s Scandium ‘Shock’ driver," said Dey.
In the course of Mr. Dey’s career he has developed extensive contacts with golf retailers, sporting goods retailers and major international distributors. He has worked with manufacturers across the entire globe, and understands manufacturing price formation, licensing of technology, OEM production, retail distribution, brand building, and maintaining brand values. He has thorough knowledge of the legal issues related to brand protection in manufacturing and retail side of the golf industry.
