January 31, 2006 – Birmingham, AL – Honours Golf is thrilled to announce that six of its public golf facilities were named to the NGF’s (National Golf Foundation) Fourth Annual Customer Loyalty Awards.
Honours Golf has a great presence on the awards list for 2005 with five of its managed courses debuting, including FarmLinks Golf Club in Birmingham, AL leading the pack as the Premium Daily Fee winner. Winners were recently announced by the NGF during the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.
The following Honours Golf Clubs have been named:
Premium Daily Fee Facility Category
Winner
FarmLinks Golf Club – Birmingham, AL
Runners-up
Limestone Golf Club – Birmingham, AL
Peninsula Golf Club – Gulf Shores, AL
Standard Daily Fee Category

Highland Park Golf Course – Birmingham, AL
Rock Creek Golf Club – Fairhope, AL (2004 Standard Daily Fee Category Winner)
"It’s quite an honor to have six of our clubs recognized by the most important people in the industry – our members and guests," stated Honours Golf CEO, Bob Barrett. "We’re very proud of our team members and their efforts in exceeding our customers’ expectations in both service and course conditions."
The Customer Loyalty Awards are based completely on consumer response from the NGF’s online customer satisfaction survey – CLASPâ?¢ (Customer Loyalty and Satisfaction Program). Recipients were selected from more than 400 golf courses participating in the program in 2005 and over 250,000 completed surveys in the system.
NGF presented awards in three categories: Premium Daily Fee Facilities, Standard Daily Fee Facilities, and Municipal Facilities. Each category contained an overall winner and nine runners-up. Winners were determined by the rating each golf course received from their golfers based on importance and satisfaction in 12 key areas of the golf facility including: overall value, course condition, pace of play, customer service, amenities, aesthetics and scenery, and overall experience. Other criteria included the willingness of their golfer to recommend the golf course to others and to return to play the golf course in the future.
