Sacramento, CA- The Northern California Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association is pleased to announce the 2006 Player & Teacher Development Forum has been set for February 27-28 in Sacramento, CA. This educational seminar will feature Keynote Speaker Jim Flick, a highly respected golf instructor and "Top 100 Teacher" for Golf Magazine. He is co-founder of the Nicklaus/Flick Schools and has authored numerous books on golf instruction.
Also addressing the audience at the two-day teaching summit are nationally recognized instructors Mike and Sandy LaBauve of Westin Kierland Resort and Spa (Scottsdale, AZ.), and 2005 NCPGA Teacher of the Year, Scott Krause of Eagle Ridge Golf Club (Gilroy, CA).
At the forum an additional segment, presented by Dennis Younglove with Srixon Sports will focus on equipment technology. "We are really excited about being involved with the forum," states Dennis Younglove, Srixon’s Northern California Territory Manager. "It’s an upbeat, educational event where the pros can absorb useful information on teaching methodology, and at the same time they’ll get a chance to learn more about recent advancements in equipment technology."
Now in its ninth year, the 2006 NCPGA Player & Teacher Development Forum is expected to attract more than 200 PGA and LPGA teaching professionals from a variety of private and public golf facilities on the west coast.
