DuPont to sponsor Internet Café at Golf Industry Show in Atlanta

Thanks to DuPont Professional Products and DuPont Landscape Systems, attendees at the 2006 Golf Industry Show, Feb. 9-11, in Atlanta, Ga., will never be too far from home. The Internet Café, presented in partnership with DuPont, will allow attendees to conveniently browse the Web, check and send e-mail, and print out documents free of charge.

Last year at the inaugural Golf Industry Show in Orlando, more than 2,500 attendees took advantage of the free Internet Café, with many visiting several times a day. This year’s café will be located near the registration center at the Georgia World Congress Center and will be open Monday, Feb. 6 through Saturday, Feb. 11. The café will feature approximately 25 computer terminals, as well as laptop stations where users can have high-speed Internet access; or for those with wireless cards, visitors can take advantage of free wireless Internet access. Printer stations also will be provided.

DuPont Professional Products, makers of TranXit® herbicide and Advion® fire ant bait, and DuPont Landscape Systems, makers of Turf Blanket with DuPontâ?¢ Xavan®, are proud to sponsor this year’s Internet Café.

"The Internet has revolutionized the way people stay connected with each other," said Mike McDermott, DuPont Global Business Manager for Professional Products. "DuPont is delighted to present the Internet Café and give attendees the opportunity to keep in touch with their families, facilities and friends while being away, no matter how far they traveled to get to Atlanta."

Additionally, show attendees are invited to stop by Booth #1728 and #1974 to learn more about the latest in pest and turf management and care from the DuPont teams.

The GCSAA Leadership Survey, a real-time, computerized survey that examines the opinions of superintendents on a number of timely issues, also will be available to take the week of the event (Feb. 6 11) in the Internet Café. GCSAA uses the results of the survey to publicize and promote golf course superintendents.
