New Bedford, MA, February, 2006 . . . The Kate Lordâ?¢ Collection by Ahead® has become one of the fastest growing headwear, apparel and accessory lines for women in the golf industry. Designed as a lifestyle brand for today’s active woman, the Kate Lord Collection features classic styles that are comfortable both on and off the course. In 2006, Kate Lord Collection will introduce new styles, colors and fabrics to complement the in-line collection.

New Colors:
Kate Lord Collection has added five new colors: apple, hot pink, orange, caribbean blue and soft yellow to their popular fashion basic styles throughout the line. The new colors will be offered in the quilted ¼ zip fleece, pique polo shirt, ladies tee shirt, and short sleeve and long sleeve mock neck.
Technology and Kate Lord:
The technology in the Kate Lord Collection has expanded in fabrics designed to stretch for more comfort, along with a moisture management system that keeps women warm and dry.
Moisture Wick Interlock Drop Needle Polo Shirt: This polo is made with a 75% cotton/25% polyester moisture wicking fabric along with a tapered body cut and pieced side inserts. A double snap front placket and contrasting collared and cuff treatments create a slender look.
Double Jacquard Polo: This polo is made with a 50% tencel/50% polyester double knit pop stitch jacquard featuring a self-collar with a hidden front zipper and "V" cuff model.
Outerwear:
The new outerwear pieces in the Kate Lord collection are lightweight and casual, ideal for wearing on and off the course.
Flatback Rib Crewneck: This 100% cotton flatback rib crewneck pullover is designed with pieced side panels and sleeve and a "V" insert at the front neck.
Double Knit Coat Front: This luxury-layering piece is made with 100% cotton double knit light suede coat front and a full button front model with a "V" cuff.
Performance Fleece: This 100% polyester micro-fiber/polar fleece is made with pieced side treatments for a slender look, along with a half zip front pullover with side arm pocket and hidden zip.
Kate Lord Introduces Short Program:
The Kate Lord Collection will introduce shorts for spring 2006. The shorts are made of 100% easy care stretch cotton fabric and will come in white, black, stone, caribbean blue, apple, hot pink, orange, soft yellow and periwinkle.
The Kate Lord Collection uses a feminine and subtle ornamentation on all the pieces. The signature KL heart logo or stacked Kate Lord lettering is tastefully placed on each garment in tonal embroidery.
