The Wire reports that Jack Bacot, editor of Golfstyles Carolinas and anING executive board member, is back at his Charleston, S.C., home recovering from triple bypass surgery two weeks ago. Bacot expects to be in attendance at the ING Spring Conference in Pinehurst, May 21-25. … Stone Eagle Golf Club in Palm Desert, Calif., is selected among the "Top 10 Best New Courses of 2005" by Travel & Leisure golf magazine. … The National Sporting Goods Association is offering pre-publication discounts on its new 2005 brand share reports.
