New Innovations, Fabrics and Styles Highlight the Line

New innovations, fabrics, and styles will enhance all three men’s apparel categories in 2006: Ahead® Premium, Ahead® Classic, and Ahead® ACARE System.
Ahead Premium:
This category represents affordable luxury, featuring:
High Sheen Mercerized Jersey Solid and Stripe Polo – This solid and stripe polo is made with a new fine 100% cotton, 60/2-ply mercerized jersey with a high sheen finish for a more elegant look. This polo also features an open hem sleeve, dyed to match collar, and mother of pearl-like buttons.
Ahead Classics:
Classics is a key Ahead item category with its classic styles and fabrics, and is most popular at many golf shops and resorts because it can offer the best product with the best decoration at the best price value.
Classic Shorts: New to the line are three shorts available with flat front, single or double pleated styles.
Ahead ACARE System:
This category represents Ahead’s umbrella for new innovation and technology in performance fabrics.
ACARE – Soft-Tech – This is the best in 100% cotton performance. The wash and wear easy care fabrics go through a special process that make the 100% cotton fabrics wash easier, last longer, and look and feel better throughout the life of the garment.
Sof-Tech Mercerized Solid, Striped and Pique-Striped Polos – These polos are made with 100% cotton sof-tech 50/2-ply mercerized jersey, featuring solids and stripes with wrinkle resistant care construction and finish for easy wash and wear. They are designed with a no roll collar treatment and Ahead signature buttons.
Sof-Tech Mercerized Long Sleeve Polo – This long sleeve polo is made with 100% cotton sof-tech 50/2-ply mercerized jersey with wrinkle-resistant care, construction, and finish. Designed with a no roll collar treatment and featuring Ahead signature buttons makes this a great shirt for both on and off the course.
ACARE – Weather: This category features the best performance fabrics and styles designed to keep golfers warm and dry in any weather.
Rain Jacket and Pants – This outerwear is made with 100% polyester and is fully seam-sealed with stretch at the shoulder, has storm-tunnel sleeves, and water proof zippers.
Lightweight Thermal Vest – This vest is made with 100% Polyester, with wind resistant and moisture wicking features.
ACARE – Arid: ACARE-Arid signifies a new fit, style, and performance at Ahead. There is a more updated look and feel to this line. The fabrics used in the Extreme line combine the best of cotton and micro polyester to make these garments perform their best when it’s hot. The Dry-Balance moisture wicking system is incorporated in the construction of the garment without any additives to give it a natural look and feel. This process guarantees the technology will continue to work through the life of the garment.
Moisture Wicking Mesh Back Polo – This mesh-back moisture wicking polo is made of 53% cotton/47% polyester and features Ahead’s Extreme fit and styling which includes a self-collar, three-button placket, and hem sleeve.
Moisture Wicking Mesh Back Color Block Polo – This mesh-back, moisture wicking color block polo is made of 53% cotton/47% polyester and features a self-collar, zip front placket, saddle shoulders, and hem sleeve. The polo has an Extreme fit and styling.
