W-Series Woods Get Thin To Win

February 9, 2006

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA…Cleveland Golf is pleased to announce the expansion of its W-Series line with the addition of the W-Series Launcher® Ti460 driver and Launcher steel fairway woods for women.

These latest additions to the W-Series line feature Thin Crown Technologyâ?¢ which moves 15% of the weight from the crown to lower and deeper locations around the perimeter of the clubhead. This redistribution produces a lower center of gravity and helps create higher launch angles for maximum distance.

The W-Series Launcher Ti460 driver also features a plasma-welded, beta titanium face, which offers players a large sweet spot and high Moment of Inertia (MOI) for exceptional distance, even when the driver is struck off-center. This new driver is offered with 12Ë? or 14Ë? of loft and has an MSRP of $315.

The Launcher Steel fairway woods have a robotically welded face plate made from Carpenter Custom 455® steel, which not only increases the size of the club’s sweet spot but makes the face hotter and more forgiving on off-center hits. These new fairway woods are available in lofts of 17Ë?, 19Ë?, 22Ë? & 25Ë? and have an MSRP of $249.

All new W-Series products will begin shipping on February 15, 2006. High-resolution images of these products are available to download from the Cleveland Golf website (www.clevelandgolf.com) under the Media Center. Please call customer service for user name and password information.
