The Champion fought through a difficult day that saw a four-shot lead erased by a scorching final round 64 from the eventual runner-up who began the day nine shots off the lead. A pinpoint iron shot to five feet on the par three 16th hole led to a birdie and one shot lead that the Champion would never relinquish.
