Loren Roberts, who has been # 1 in the Power Performance Rankings since September 7th of 2005, retained his place at the top of the rankings with a victory in the Ace Classic, his third in a row in 2006. Roberts’ success in 2006 comes as no surprise to the PPR system as Roberts held his lead the entire fall of 2005 and finished 2006 at the top of the rankings.
Filling out the rest of the top five are Tom Watson, Peter Jacobsen, Mark McNulty and Dana Quigley.
Mastercard and Turtle Bay calculations, which were delayed due to computer problems in January, are reflected in this week’s numbers.
