Entries Open For Georgia Four-Ball Championship
MARIETTA, Ga. – Entries are now being accepted for the 35th annual Georgia Four-Ball Championship, which takes place April 28-30 at Wilmington Island Club in Savannah. This event is open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers of all ages who are GSGA members and Georgia residents.
The format of the event is 54 holes of stroke play over three days. The field will be cut to the low 40 teams and ties after 36 holes. Jack Hall and Danny Nelson, both of Savannah, won the championship last year in cold and blustery conditions. Hall and Nelson fired a final-round 69 to take the event by three strokes over Dalton’s David Noll Jr. and Cumming’s Doug Green. Wilmington Island Club hosts the Four-Ball Championship for the second time having previously hosted the event in 2000.
