EL SEGUNDO, CA (Feb. 24, 2006) — TOTAL GOLF ADVENTURES (TGA), a national Golf Program and the only at-school, after school, golf enrichment program in the country announced today the company has signed its latest licensed territory – Marin, CA – to be owned and run by Sherman Leland.
"Sherman’s devotion to community involvement and junior development will give the youth of Marin a wonderful golf program," says Joshua Jacobs, President & CEO of TGA. "His dedication helps TGA continue its mission to provide all children in the U.S. with access into the game."
Sherman Leland has spent the last four years coaching high school golf in Marin County along with running a local business that services the schools. "TGA’s program is an affordable and convenient after school program that encourages learning and athletic skills which is invaluable to the growth of our children," Leland said.
TGA’s program, available for children in grades K-8, extends beyond learning the game of golf and honing the golf swing. A child’s passion for the game of golf grows with a program that expands and improves their motor skills and coordination, encourages their advancement, and builds their confidence and self-esteem through a three level program designed to transition students from the school to the golf course.
