2006 PNGA Championship Schedule Confirmed

Bellevue, WA – The Pacific Northwest Golf Association has finalized its 2006 championship schedule. The schedule includes a mix of classic and modern venues for the association’s 14 championships. New to the schedule in 2006 are the PNGA Cup Matches, a Ryder Cup-style event featuring elite male and female golfers from each PNGA-member state and provincial amateur golf association.

Entry applications for the 2006 PNGA Championships will be available on the PNGA website (www.thepnga.org) beginning March 13.

Men’s Amateur Championship, Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, Vancouver, B.C., July 10-15

Men’s Master-40 Amateur Championship, Wildhorse Resort & Casino, Pendleton, Ore., August 14-18

Junior Girls’ Amateur Championship, Mount Si Golf Course, Snoqualmie, Wash., August 21-24

Junior Boys’ Amateur Championship, The Resort at Ludlow Bay, Port Ludlow, Wash., August 21-25

Men’s & Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship, Diamond Woods Golf Course, Monroe, Ore., August 26-27

Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship, Awbrey Glen Golf Club, Bend, Ore., September 5-7

Men’s & Women’s Senior Team Championship, Gold Mountain Golf Complex, Bremerton, Wash., September 25-28
