WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 2, 2006) – The GolfStyles magazine group is pleased to announce the debut of its new radio show, GolfStyles Live, on Saturday, March 4, 2006.
The fast-paced, interview-driven show will be hosted by Tony Leodora, associate publisher/editor of GolfStyles Philadelphia. Leodora, an award-winning golf writer, also has a number of years of experience in radio. In 2003 he hosted a show that was honored as best golf radio show in the country by the International Network of Golf.
The new show will air from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP, 990-AM, the Philadelphia area’s fastest-growing talk station. Aside from news talk, WNTP is also the home of other sports programming such as Penn State football, Villanova basketball and football, and Drexel basketball.
Golfstyles Live is presented by the Norco Auto Group. Supporting sponsors include H.E.M. Corp, TaylorMade-Addidas Golf and Golf Vacations.
Leodora’s fast-paced interview style will bring some of the biggest and brightest names from local, regional and national golf to the show each Saturday morning. He will combine the interviews with regular features such as "The Traveling Golfer," "The Golfer’s Closet," "The Shore Report" and "The Architect’s Corner."
GolfStyles is the third-largest golf magazine in the country, with a circulation of more than 320,000 per issue. The magazine is published in seven regions – Philadelphia, Washington, New Jersey, Boston, Ohio, Carolina and Atlanta – nine times per year.
