From our latest conversation with Jeff Gallatin, Owner of Pro Club Cleaner, we gather that the line up of spring deliveries is coming along quite nicely, thank you. He says the phone keeps ringing. One call was particularly special to him. It was a case just like Jimmy Tidwell’s, down at Brentwood Country Club in San Angelo, Texas that we’ve told you about.
Kevin Kwak called to say he was leaving as Head Pro at Davenport Country Club in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, because he got an offer he just couldn’t refuse from his old stomping grounds up in Chicago, where he first cut his teeth as an assistant years ago. It’s where he and his wife’s family are from, so it’s just like going back home for them. Kevin first got Pro Club for Davenport in March of last year, and told Jeff then that everyone loved the machine; the GM, the staff, the golfers, it was just what they’d been looking for. So now, John Panek, who was Kevin’s First Assistant, is the new Head Pro, and it looks like for now, he’s keeping that machine.
Kevin’s moving on to be Head Pro at Wynstone Golf Club in North Barrington, Illinois. They’ve got a Jack Nicklaus course set in one of those prestigious Lake County communities, northwest of Chicago. He’s staying with his sister during the weeks before the season begins, and goes back to Iowa on the weekends, where his wife is getting ready to sell the house. One of his pre-season chores is to write up the budget, and he tells Jeff he’s putting in for two machines; one for the Driving Range and one for the Cart Barn.
Pro Club Cleaner power washes an individual golf club head or grip in two to three seconds or an entire set of golf clubs and grips in two to three minutes. Golfers insert their clubs one by one into a chamber where they’re greeted by a series of stationary brushes and strategically placed spray-jets that peck the dirt off the club-face without the use of any additives or chemicals – strictly high water pressure. It takes less than 5 minutes to assemble, it’s maintenance free, and there are no moving parts. Unlike most club cleaners, this one does grips too. Clubs can be fed shaft first and will emerge grease and grime free for a nice tacky grip. Pro Club Cleaner can be placed at the Cart Barn, with the Bag Storage, at the Starter Gate or on the Driving Range… It’s A Great Way to Service Your Golf Clientele.
