GolfGym Introduces New Packaging For Its Entire Line Of Fitness Products

SANTA ANA, CA – March 7, 2006 – GolfGym, the industry leader in golf fitness announced today that it has introduced new packaging for its entire line of fitness products along with a Point-of-Purchase display to showcase the complete line.

The attractive new packaging prominently features golf fitness expert and author, Katherine Roberts. In addition, it features a new orange color scheme to reflect the company’s redesigned corporate look.

GolfGym products include the PowerSwing Trainer, which was first introduced in 1987, the GolfGym Club 38 (about 2.4 pounds) and Club 28 (about 1.75 pounds) weighted trainers, which were introduced in early 2005, the GolfGym Balance Ball and the GolfGym Game Improvement Series of workout DVDs featuring Katherine Roberts.

The patented PowerSwing Trainer is a unique training and conditioning tool designed to develop proper swing habits and muscle memory, improve club control and shot accuracy, build strength to add distance, and develop better balance and posture. The PowerSwing Trainer comes packaged in either a Personal Edition for $39.95 or a Masters Edition for $69.95. Both versions include a ProPerfect training grip, a latex PowerCord (a medium resistance for the Personal Edition and a light, medium and heavy resistance for the Masters Edition), door attachment, instruction manual, instructional DVD and a convenient carrying bag.

The golf-balanced Club 38 (about 2.4 pounds) and Club 28 (about 1.75 pounds) weighted training clubs are perfect complements to the well-established PowerSwing Trainer. The clubs are proportionately weighted with the overall weight distributed the same as a traditional club, which makes them perfect as a warm up tool for golfers prior to their rounds or in a training regiment. By weighting them in proportion to a standard club, the GolfGym Club simply accentuates a golf club’s natural feel. Its weight makes it easier to keep track of the head as it pulls the golfer through his or her swing. The GolfGym Club 38 and Club 28 each retail for $59.95.

The GolfGym Balance Ball is a premium quality 65cm burst-resistant balance ball, and includes a Quick Start DVD, Quick Start User Manual and a portable air pump. The suggested retail price is $34.95.

The Game Improvement Series of DVDs offered by GolfGym features Katherine Roberts, who guides golfers through state-of-the-art golf workout programs that are tailored for use with GolfGym equipment. The series includes The Katherine Roberts GolfGym Balance Ball Workout and The Katherine Roberts Complete GolfGym Workout for use with the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer. The DVDs have a suggested retail price of $19.95.

The attractive new point-of-purchase display is reminiscent of a gym storage locker and features a removable header card. It holds up to 10 of the company’s popular PowerSwing Trainers, 10 weighted clubs and 24 DVDs. The space-saving display has a small, 26" x 17" footprint and requires very little assembly, making it perfect for retailers trying to maximize sales per square foot.
