The International Champions Tour will be held March 27-April 2, 2006 at the Jack Nicklaus designed Vista Vallarta Golf Club
PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – March 8, 2006 – The picturesque Mexican seaside resort town of PUERTO VALLARTA will be the site of a new PGA Champions Tour this spring. The tournament will be played March 27 – April 2, 2006, at the Vista Vallarta Golf Club designed by Jack Nicklaus.

K.C. Krandall, one of the head tournament organizers added: "We’re very pleased to have the PUERTO VALLARTA Tourism Board support all of our efforts and to have this opportunity to share the warmth, beauty and attractions of PUERTO VALLARTA with all of the Championship’s participants."
This year’s Blue Agave Classic Golf Championship will also benefit those who need it most. The tournament’s organizational committee will donate US$50,000 to six local charities including the Make a Wish Foundation, Becas Vallarta (Vallarta Scholarships), Toys for Tots, Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (Holy Hope Children’s Refuge), International Friendship Club, and Children of the Dump.
Golf aficionados can also participate in the Pro-Am tournament to be held prior to the Championship. The Pro-Am competition consists of teams of three or four players, each led by a professional, competing for best prize. The Pro-Am is an excellent opportunity for golf aficionados to play with some of the world’s best golfers.
