Bellaire, Mich., (March 10, 2006) – Trinidad Resort & Club, LLC has entered into an agreement with VRB Corp., a Comerica Bank subsidiary, and Comerica Bank to acquire their interests in their collateral relating to Shanty Creek Resort & Club, including all real estate acquired by VRB and Comerica’s loans to the resort. The closing of the purchase transaction is anticipated to occur on or about March 20, 2006.
Trinidad Resort & Club, LLC brings a wealth of experience in resort as well as real estate development. The new owners hope to reestablish Shanty Creek as THE Resort of Northern Michigan and look forward to working amicably with all interested parties to accomplish its goals.
