March 14, 2006, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Five Myrtle Beach National Company courses were named to the "100 Must-Play Courses of the Carolinas" list which was published in the inaugural issue of GolfStyles Carolina. The magazine’s editorial staff selected 100 public-access courses in South and North Carolina that they felt all golfers should experience during their lifetime.
The Myrtle Beach National courses honored included King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, Litchfield Country Club, Long Bay Club, River Club and Willbrook Plantation.
"Having five of our courses selected in GolfStyles Carolina’s list of the top 100 is rewarding that the quality of golf at our courses has been recognized at this level," said Jim Woodring, vice president of golf operations at Myrtle Beach National. "Golfers enjoy playing our courses for their scenic beauty, conditioning, playability and our service with southern hospitality. We are proud to be included with the great courses of Carolinas"
