Balance-Certified Golf, Inc. continued its strong start to the 2006 Season, reporting a win on the European Tour and a third place finish on the Champions Tour. The Singapore Masters winner was the first Singaporean player to win on the European Tour. He improved his world ranking by 292 places moving from 528th to 236th position. On the Champions Tour, Tom Jenkins continued his impressive play by finishing third at the AT&T Classic. Both men were using putters that had been equipped with Balance-Certified Golf’s proprietary Pro-Balanceâ?¢ shaft weighting system. The putters were specifically optimized and tuned to match the players putting stroke characteristics with Balance-Certified Golf’s (BCG’s) technology.
To date, BCG has outfitted more than 150 professional golfers on the PGA, Champions, LPGA, Nationwide, and European Tours. BCG’s President Jeff Lindner said, "We are off to a very fast start this year and have been kept very busy at the various Tour events. Our distribution expansion plan is well underway as well. In fact, the win on the European Tour resulted directly from our expansion into that area of the world. The player was fitted with BCG’s system by an account that we had just started in Singapore. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the results."
Balance-Certified’s Pro-Balanceâ?¢ system was originally developed and produced for Tour players back in 1999 and has been gaining traction with professional and amateur golfers ever since. In fact, PGA superstar Scott Hoch and Champions Tour standout Tom Jenkins both credit Balance-Certified’s technology with significantly improving their games. Hoch and Jenkins have signed endorsement contracts with the company and also serve as Technical Advisors concerning technology and business development.
Balance-Certified’s unique system utilizes precision shaft mounted counter-weights to tune the structural dynamic properties of any golf club in conjunction with the human dynamics of the golf swing through a process the company has defined as "Motion Balancingâ?¢." This process differs from other adjustable weighting scenarios since it positively affects swing plane and ball impact consistency as well as swing tempo and rhythm.
In independent testing by such notables as www.equip2golf.com and PGA Tour Partners, BCG’s systems have been shown to deliver increased ball speed in drivers, increased control of iron play and a tangible benefit in "feel" and distance control of putters. Dubbed the "Best Invention for Serious Golfers" at the 2004 PGA show by noted golf writer James Achenbach of Golfweek, the product has shown a steady rise in consumer acceptance. The company’s dealer network has increased to over 630 retail accounts worldwide. Dealer inquiries are welcome.
