ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL – (March 16, 2006) – A new key element of a solid marketing plan is not just a buzzword. "Buzz marketing," says entrepreneur Patrick Coulson, "shouldn’t be ignored.
"Outthinking the competition, not outspending them, is the key to successful business today," said Coulson. "Buzz marketing, PR and business prospecting are more critical than ever to differentiate yourself."
Buzz marketing will be just one of the topics Coulson touches upon during his workshop presentation, "Marketing Into The Future," at the 16th Annual ING Spring Conference, scheduled for May 21-25 in Pinehurst, N.C.
The International Network Of Golf, a 16-year-old non-profit, media-based networking organization whose mission is to bring together members of the media and business communities to enhance communication in golf, conducts the conference, which is expected to attract over 250 people.
ING is open to anyone in the golf industry or media.
Coulson’s presentation takes place on Tuesday, May 23 at the Country Club of Whispering Pines, and is one of six educational workshops on the schedule. Other bullet points of his presentation are:
1) The five "must-haves" for good direct marketing; 2) How to reach the younger generation and not alienate the core golf demographic; 3) Examples of good dynamic marketing; 4) Tips and tricks for a great website; 5) Using prospecting to increase success.
