Los Angeles, CA – Cheryl Horaney’s Golf Girl Couture made its LPGA Tour debut at The Safeway International in Superstition Mountain, Arizona this week as LPGA Tour superstar Christina Kim wore the apparel line in her first round on Thursday alongside playing partner Annika Sorenstam.
Cheryl Horaney, President and Designer of Golf Girl Couture, a brand new women’s apparel line that took the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show by storm, is no stranger to "working with the stars" though. Horaney has been a fashion consultant to many of Hollywood’s elite actors and actresses and has worked as a stylist on several movies and national television shows over the past few years.
Horaney’s new line of golf apparel combines the highest performance fabrics with the latest innovative designs. Horaney has introduced rich embroideries and exotic trims to her collection. Classic plaids and twills go from simple to spicy with lurex and leather, added in just the right doses.
This newly established division of Harrison Design is already the hottest thing in the golf industry and on the course. Horaney’s mission is to do nothing less than revolutionize golf clothing, from rather baggy polos and shorts to jacket and capri combinations that truly rock!
"Christina has been such a pleasure to work with," said Horaney. "I’m so excited that she’s decided to wear the lineâ?¦she looks amazing. Every fabric in the line is tested and treated specifically for high performance, comfort and playability. The response from the women on the LPGA Tour has been unbelievable. They’re literally lining up to wear it."
