ATLANTA — March 21, 2006 Srixon Staff Professional Robert Allenby came in 4th place at the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Allenby, who plays with the Srixon Z-UR golf ball, Srixon forged cavity back irons, and Srixon W-403 driver, fired an 11-under par, 277 total (68-67-73-69). Allenby’s successful return to the first page of the leaderboard on the PGA TOUR comes on the heels of his historic "Australian Triple Crown" where he claimed the Australian Open, Australian PGA, and Australian Masters in the same year – the first player to ever accomplish that feat.
Allenby continues to use his full bag of Srixon clubs to combine power and accuracy – he is currently ranked 4th on the PGA TOUR in driving distance and is ranked 1st in total driving, which is a combination of distance and accuracy. Allenby is ranked 35th in the world.
This was Srixon’s 11th Top 10 finish in the 2006 season.
