Entries Now Open For Greater Atlanta Women’s Amateur Championship
MARIETTA, Ga. – Entries are now being accepted for the 37th annual Greater Atlanta Women’s Amateur Championship, which takes place May 22-24 at Atlanta National Golf Club in Alpharetta. This event is open to female amateur golfers who are GSGA members and Georgia residents.
The format of the event is 54 holes of stroke play over three days. Last year, Augusta’s Laura Coble successfully defended her title by firing a one-under 71 and erasing a six-stroke deficit in the final round. Atlanta National Golf Club plays host to this event for the second time having previously hosted in 1992.
Qualified players may enter online at the GSGA website (www.gsga.org) by clicking the Online Registration quick link. Paper entries are available by request and may also be downloaded as a PDF file via the GSGA website. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, May 3 at 5:00 p.m.
Entry periods are also currently open for the Georgia Four-Ball Championship (through April 5) and the GSGA Senior Tournament (through April 19).
