Denver, CO, March 28, 2006 Yes! Golf announced today the signing of LPGA standout Rosie Jones. The seven-time Solheim Cup team member will use the YES! C-Groove putter and carry the YES! golf bag on tour this year.
"Rosie is one of the most popular players on the LPGA tour," stated Francis Ricci, CEO & President Yes! Golf. "She has been using our putter for about a year and we are thrilled to have her join the YES! Golf team."
Jones, 46, has won 13 times on the LPGA Tour with career earnings of over $8 million. In the 2005 Solheim Cup, Jones was one of the clutch players in the USA victory over Europe. Jones’ putting has steadily improved; she was ranked among the top 20 players on tour in average putts per green in regulation in 2005.
"The Yes! putter has helped me improve my putting stroke and-more importantly-my confidence on the greens," stated Jones. "The C-Groove technology really makes sense. It helps me get the ball rolling forward quicker and the grooves provide a softer feel, resulting in better distance control."
Jones will be an integral part of the YES! Golf marketing and advertising campaign. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Yes! Golf, based in Denver, Colorado, is the proven leader in groove putter technology.
