April 3, 2006

New Designer, New Look

Tustin, CA – Mar 23, 2006 LINE UP FOR SPORT, the popular women’s sportswear brand, has announced two new collections for Summer 2006. These are the first collections from the new design team headed by Freda Erwee.

The aptly named "Flower Power" and "Preppy Plaid" collections mark a decidedly more playful turn for the brand. "Sometimes I think people take the game too seriously. People play golf to have fun and the clothes they wear should help them do just that" explains Erwee. Both collections feature the signature quality, fit and body styles that have made Line Up for Sport so successful over the last 25 years.

The 39 pieces that make up these collections include pants, capris, shorts of various lengths, skirts, skorts, polos of various sleeve lengths, sweaters, knit vests and outerwear. Three of the polos included in this collection are made of the company’s exclusive Comfort Line fabric, offering UV protection and moisture wicking, fade proof technology.

The complete collections and line sheets can be viewed in the company’s 10 page full color catalog. Wholesale prices range from $23 to $39 (USD). Photos can be viewed anytime at

Here is more about each collection:

Flower Power (20-pieces, ships April 30)

Shades of pink, white and a large overall, stylized floral print accented with splashes of green and yellow make this collection unique. Fabrics include interlock, french terry, medras, poplin, pique and seersucker with embroidered detailing.

Preppy Plaid (19 pieces, ships April 30)

A fun twist on an old theme, Preppy Plaid pokes fun at a stuffy genre. Baby blue, white and green are used on fabrics that include interlock, french terry, medras, poplin, pique and seersucker. Embellishments include embroidery, sequins and beads.
