Adams Integrated Set of Idea a2 Irons Used in Victory
PLANO, TEXAS, April 3, 2006 – Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) staff player Morris Hatalsky won the Puerto Vallarta Blue Agave Golf Classic with a 9-under final score. This was Hatalsky’s first Champions Tour win of the year. He became a member of the Adams staff in January 2006 and joins fellow Adams staff professional Jerry Pate as winners of Champions Tour events this year.
"This was a great win for Morris and we are thrilled that our products played a part in his win," stated Adams Golf CEO Chip Brewer. "We are proud that elite players chose our products."
Using an integrated set of Idea a2 Irons with a 3, 4 and 5 hybrid, Hatalsky tied for first in greens hit in regulation and most birdies. Hatalsky utilized a full lineup of Adams products for the win, including a 9.5° Adams RPM Dual Driver, RPM Low Profile 3 and 5 fairway woods, three Idea a2 Hybrids – 20°, 24°, 27°, Idea a2 Irons and a 54° Puglielli Wedge.
According to the Darrell Survey, of all the hybrids used at this event, 52.5% were Adams Golf hybrids. In fact, more Champions Tour pros used Adams Golf hybrids and fairway woods than any other equipment manufacture for the seventh consecutive tournament.
"Having so many tour pros rely on our clubs is not only a tremendous honor for us but it’s also a great testament to the entire R&D staff," states Adams Golf Vice President of R&D, Tim Reed "We will continue to design golf products that not only tour pros play but also clubs that weekend golfers can use with confidence."
