About "The Big Break"
Now in its fifth season, "The Big Break" airs each Tuesday night and has been one of The Golf Channel’s most successful shows in the network’s 11-year history, featuring golfers putting it all on the line for a chance to earn exemptions to play on some of the world’s top tours, such as the LPGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, European Tour and Canadian Tour. Viewers see great golf – strategy, tension, clutch shots and critical mistakes – as contestants take on challenges that reveal the strengths and weaknesses in their games and test their mental toughness. Players are eliminated one by one until only one is crowned "Big Break" champion. Previous "All Star Big Break" shoots have involved the Boston Red Sox, NASCAR Drivers, Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers teammates and cast members from the NBC comedy "Scrubs."
