To meet a significant increase in demand, Balance-Certified Golf, Inc. has increased the scope of its distribution and sales network with the addition of 87 new accounts. The additional accounts were acquired through the company’s internal expansion plan that was initiated February 1, 2006. To ensure that all orders are delivered on time, Balance-Certified Golf (BCG) has increased on-hand inventory kept in stock at their shipping facility, increased their sales support personnel, and streamlined their web based sales management system.
Jeff Lindner, BCG President said, "We are off to an extremely fast start this year. The increase in accounts is particularly satisfying because it is the result of an increase in consumer demand. More and more golf professionals are calling BCG to start accounts because their customers are asking for BCG’s products by name." The additional accounts were not acquired through a corporate arrangement to employ a separate sales organization’s distribution system. Rather, they were acquired one by one by BCG since the expansion plan started earlier this year.
BCG Corporate Operations Manager Michael Cranston added, "Our success on Tour has really helped to drive sales this year. We have had a win on both the European Tour and the Canadian Tour along with several top ten finishes on the PGA, LPGA, Champions, and Nationwide Tours. This constant drum beat of success gives our sales representatives a lot to talk about and golfers are listening."
BCG’s former NASA engineering team first pioneered their Pro-Balance shaft tuning system in 1999 and has made it available to Tour players for several years. The Pro-Balance line introduces strategically located weights that can be used to adjust a golf club’s vibration and response characteristics and can be installed in any brand of golf equipment. "The bottom line is that BCG products help golfers to play better golf and shoot lower scores," said Lindner.
BCG has streamlined the dealer application process and made it accessible via their website, www.balance-certified.com. They support their dealers with DVD, online support and training, as well as a national presence on Tour. Lindner noted, "What makes our product so attractive to both the small shop or independent teacher is the low buy-in cost for the fitting system and inventory. Shops can usually recover their initial investment with just a few fittings. Our customer satisfaction runs higher than 90% so we know we are making a difference in the performance of golfers at all levels. And our sell-through is usually measured in weeks or days, not quarters or seasons. Obviously, that is very important in today’s highly competitive marketplace."
Dealer inquiries are welcome.
