LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2006) -The Los Angeles Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) invites novice and expert women golfers to their 12th Annual Spring Kickoff dinner, Wednesday, April 26, 6- 9 p.m., at the MountainGate Country Club in Los Angeles. Laurie Gibbs, Pepperdine University’s Women’s Golf Coach and the 2005 Golfweek Coach of the Year, will be the guest speaker.
"We welcome all golfers, beginning to advanced," said EWGA Los Angeles Chapter President Lori Baker. "The Kickoff is a great way for everyone to meet women golfers and become involved with a great association."
The Los Angeles Chapter of EWGA conducts monthly 18-hole and 9-hole outings at courses throughout the Los Angeles area, new and intermediate golfer clinics, plus organized weekly league play. Nine is Enough! outings offer play at par-3 and executive-length courses for members who are new golfers or don’t have time for a full 18-hole round, or for more experienced players wanting to work on their short game. Weekly twilight leagues are held at the Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena for experienced players and in El Segundo for all levels in the summer months.
