Reality television show returns to Chicago’s southwest suburbs
BOLINGBROOK, Ill., April 11, 2006 – For a second year in a row, Bolingbrook Golf Club will be a national audition site for The Golf Channel’s hit reality television show, The Big Break VI. Auditions will take place at the club on Friday, April 14 for competitors who have successfully completed The Golf Channel’s application process.
The popular, reality-based skills competition tests the physical and mental abilities of aspiring professional golfers while offering each male and female champion an exemption to play in select Champions and LPGA Tour events, respectively. The players who advance to The Big Break VI will be part of a two-week taping session this summer. The series debuted in October 2003.
"We’re very proud of our partnership with The Golf Channel," said Terry Hanley, KemperSports’ general manager at Bolingbrook Golf Club. "It’s exciting for the Village of Bolingbrook, our surrounding communities and fans of The Big Break alike. We look forward to a fun-filled Friday."
