TAMPA, Fla. – The Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship will play at a North and South site in Florida on June 3-4. Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club in Gainesville will host the North Championship as the South will play at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek in Naples. The Florida State Golf Association is now accepting entries at www.fsga.org as the deadline is May 3.
The Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championships are each 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. In four-ball stroke play, two competitors play as partners, each playing his own ball. The lower score of the partners is the score for the hole. The field is flighted after 18 holes. To be eligible, players must be 25 years of age or older.
Last year in the North Championship at Amelia Island Plantation, Curtis Madson and Doug Snoap won the title with scores of 67-65—132 while Brian Johnson and Scott Brassard took the South Championship shooting 65-66—131 at Inverrary Country Club.

Organized in 1913, the Florida State Golf Association is a not-for-profit organization that governs amateur golf in the state of Florida.
