Bivens to Speak May 16th to Members of Women’s Golf Association
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, April 17, 2006 – Carolyn Bivens, the Commissioner of the LPGA, will speak at a luncheon held especially for members of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) on May 16th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, New York.
The LPGA’s first female commissioner in the now 56-year history of the LPGA Tour, Bivens is the former President and CEO of Initiative Media North America, the largest media services agency in the United States. She was previously associate publisher of USA Today.
"This is a very special opportunity for our members and their guests to meet the new Commissioner," says Pam Swensen, executive director of the EWGA. "It’s a unique chance to share an intimate conversation with the woman whose dream was to become the LPGA Commissioner and now is leading the LPGA to the next level."
