Redmond, WA— Bite Golf, the golf shoe company that is #1 in comfort and performance according to the Darrel Survey, is raising the bar again. Over the past decade, Bite Golf has proven to be the leader in designing golf footwear that has set the standard for biomechanics, performance and good foot health. Now the company is launching a nationwide fitting and training certification program that is unequaled in the industry.
"It takes a qualified knowledgeable person to sell Bite golf shoes," said Tom Cox, national sales manager for Bite. "We realized this and put together a detailed training program for our retailers. This program includes specific instructions in the proper fitting system and a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of our biomechanical, performance enhanced golf shoes. We not only fit for the ideal length and width, but we also provide interchangeable foot beds and can adjust specific areas such as the arch support to fit an individual golfer’s needs."
Bite is also introducing the Bite Mobile. Unveiled at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, the Bite Mobile will be traveling to various retail accounts, consumer shows and demo days. The Bite Mobile will help promote the fitting and educating of golfers regarding the benefits of Bite’s healthy shoe designs and general foot health.
"We believe it is an important investment to support our retailers whether they are green grass or brick and mortar," explained Cox. "We also feel it incumbent upon us to serve the individual golfer. We believe in our product and we want everyone else to as well."
Bite has stood the test of time. They’re a lot more than the company that introduced the Golf Sandal and the Golf Boot in various sections of the country where the style was cool, alternative and manufactured specifically for the climate and terrain.
Bite continues to be true innovators and leaders in the footwear category.
Bite’s latest product lines, Orthosport and Biotrac golf shoes, have taken Bite’s commitment to performance and foot health to the next level. The AC 2 offers a breathable, washable mesh shoe unrivaled for its lightweight comfort and supportive outsole featuring Bite’s proprietary FootFrame.
"We’re proud of what we’ve achieved," said Cox. "Bite was the little engine that could when we started. Now some of the footwear giants are unsuccessfully trying to duplicate and follow – while some of the more traditional golf brands are out of the golf shoe business."
