Q-Link Reports A Winner

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. (April 19, 2006) – The winner of the LPGA Takefuji Classic in Las Vegas wore a Q-Link pendant for the first time last week, and its stress-reducing technology enabled her to keep her cool and win her first tournament of the year in dominating style.

The tournament winner led from start to finish to capture the event by 3 strokes with a 19-under par total of 197. She fired a 9-under-par 63 in the first round of the three-day tournament at Las Vegas Country Club and never looked back.

This winner wasn’t the only first-time Q-Link wearer to experience a high finish at the Classic. The third place winner donned her Q-Link for the first time on Tuesday. On Saturday, when the tournament was completed, she had finished third at 14-under par 202, the best finish of her two-year career and her first top-10 LPGA Tour finish ever.

"The performances by both players is another example of how the Q-Link leads players to top results under the stress of competition," says John Allan, VP of Sales for Q-Link Products. "The Q-Link helps bring out the best in players, and these top finishes again proves that."

Both players were introduced to the Q-Link at the Takefuji Classic because the company was at the tournament last week to test players who were already wearing the Q-Link and to introduce it to others. In all, 33 pros were each tested for seven system meridian points, including lungs, lymphatics, lower intestine, circulatory, nervous, allergy and cellular metabolism.

At the start of testing, 30 percent of the meridian points were in balance and stress was reduced with the Q-Link. Of those points that were initially out of balance, 79 percent were brought into balance and stress was reduced after wearing the Q-Link for only a few minutes. Of the 21 percent that were not brought into balance, 87 percent of the points showed improvement. Of the total points tested, only 2 percent showed no improvement.

"Those are outstanding results," says Allan. "They demonstrate the complete values that wearing a Q-Link delivers."

Q-Link was named Best New Product at the 2005 PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas. All Q-Link pendants feature sleek contemporary designs and can be worn by both men and women as a signature piece while being dressed up or down. They look great and perform fantastically.

Last year, more than 200 golfers from the PGA, Champions and LPGA Tours wore Q-Links during tournaments to help them play their best under the stress of championship competition. Q-Link wearers on those tours won 18 tournaments in 2005, including Birdie Kim at the U.S. Women’s Open, Allen Doyle at the U.S. Senior Open and Jeong Jang at the Weetabix Women’s British Open.

Q-Link pendants are distributed in the United States by Q-Link Golf, located in Newport Beach, California.
