The stars at the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship will in the future be driven around in top models from Ingolstadt
Hamburg/Ingolstadt, April 21st 2006: The organiser and promoter of the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship of Europe is pleased to have won the support of the renowned auto maker AUDI AG which, as an exclusive premium sponsor, will significantly support the golf-ing event of the PGA European Tour (from July 27 – 30, 2006, offering a total purse of euro 3.6 million) in the coming three years. The automobile manufacturer based at Ingolstadt will provide the "official limousine service" making sure that all players and officials reach their destinations in time during the tournament week. At the same time the Audi logo will appear on tournament print materials with the additional words "presented by Audi". And on Tues-day, July 25th 2006, the inventors of the quattro will present the "Audi Shoot-Out" on the championship course of the Gut Kaden Golf und Land Club which the best professionals of the competitors’ field will take part in.

As a premium sponsor AUDI AG will provide the fleet, comprising more than 40 vehicles, for the "official limousine service of the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship of Europe" to take players and officials around. Furthermore the professionals have the chance to win two Audis offered as special prizes in the tournament week: a "hole-in-one prize" on the 16th fairway as well as a "first-eagle prize" on the 9th fairway. One vehicle each from the current model range will be waiting for the first player hitting his dream shot on one of these fairways.
On top the company from Ingolstadt will present various broadcasts of the course events of the most important golf tournament on the European continent. The new premium sponsor will also exclusively present the "virtual spectator", an animated course overview showing all eighteen tournament fairways. At the same time the Audi logo will appear on tournament print materials with the additional words "presented by Audi". TV reporting from Gut Kaden Golf und Land Club will make use of the virtual spectator programme worldwide for the first time. TV leaderboards showing the Audi logo will be visible during more than 500 hours of TV coverage on four continents. The extensive commitment of AUDI AG is rounded off with brand advertising on hoardings, flags and vehicle presentations everywhere on the champi-onship course on all tournament days.
