RadarGolf Launches On-Course Rental & Retail Program; Seeks to Help Courses Increase Revenue and Improve Pace of Play

San Ramon, CA – April 25, 2006. Pro shops nationwide are invited to support and profit from golfers’ biggest lost cause. RadarGolf, inventors of the world’s first findable golf ball system announces the RadarGolf On-Course Rental & Retail Program – an innovative, try-it buy-it program available for a limited time to all pro shops in America.

Offering pro shops the opportunity for significant revenue and players a savings in time, penalty strokes and frustration, the program provides pro shops with a complimentary RadarGolf Starter Kit which includes enough product to kick-start the rental program.

The free Starter Kit (a $350 value) includes:

  • RadarGolf Handheld and carrying case (loaded with AAA batteries)
  • Owners Manual & DVD
  • Two dozen additional golf balls
  • Four Shield-It Pouch sets
  • Quick Start Guides
  • Point of Sale tent card
  • Order Form to request additional Rental Kits and ball packs

To benefit from the program, RadarGolf encourages owners to sell RadarGolf Systems and RadarGolf Balls in their shops. The RadarGolf System retails for $249.95 (MSRP); a dozen balls sell for $39.95 (MSRP).

"As with most breakthrough technologies, trial is key to understanding RadarGolf’s benefits. Once players experience the on-course advantage of BPS technology, they will want to own the system, says Chris Savarese, President, RadarGolf. "Given the product’s price point, nominal rental cost and of course, complimentary RadarGolf Starter Kit, we know we’ve created an exciting and lucrative opportunity for pro shops."

  • Pro shops agreeing to participate in the program will receive all products to immediately begin the rental program. Additional Handheld Rental Kits can be ordered for $145; extra Ball & Shield-It Pouch Sets (5 dozen balls and 15 pouch sets) are $200.
  • Players pay $15 rental charge for the handheld, sleeve of balls and Shield-It pouch set. The pouches shield balls from detection.
  • Upon rental, retailers are encouraged to ask for the player’s credit card to insure that the handheld and case are returned. The renter keeps the balls and pouch – a $25 value and very useful should renter decide to buy the system.
  • Players are given a Quick Start Guide.
