Auke’s Next Appearance will be at the Ginn Open April 30

ORLANDO, Fla., (April 24, 2006) – Dutch fashion savant, Auke Hempenius, recently debuted a monthly feature entitled Auke’s A-List in Golfweek magazine’s "The Golf Life" section. Auke’s next appearance at the Orlando’s Ginn Open will have him honing in on both the best and worst-dressed LPGA women.

Auke’s A-List features his reviews of the best and worst dressed golfers on the PGA and LPGA Tours, which will culminate in year-end best and worst dressed lists for both tours.

With appearances and critiques already in from the PGA Merchandise Show, the Bay Hill Invitational and the Masters, Auke is preparing to provide his critique of players at the LPGA’s Ginn Clubs & Resorts Open, which will appear in the May 20 issue of Golfweek.

"At the Ginn Open I’ll be interested to see if the LPGA can successfully move from the fairway to the runway," said Auke. "I’ll also be looking for trends within the women’s golf fashion industry, as well as a product of the month."

In the upcoming months, Auke will also provide his fashion expertise and make appearances on Sunday at the Men’s US Open, the PGA Championship and the LPGA Championship.

The Robb Report referred to him as "The Dutch Master" and since his arrival in the U.S. from the Netherlands he has championed the philosophy that "Clothing is Art," in numerous golf fashion articles appearing in national golf publications, in commentary on the Golf Channel and more recently as owner and creative director of his namesake designer showroom located in Winter Park, Fla.
