Orlando, FL- Rife Putters is proud to announce that the winner of BMW Asian Open used a Rife GR6 Aussie Blade putter to help capture his victory. The winner, who has been playing both the PGA and European Tour events this season, needed to improve his putting average and was looking to make a switch. He first picked up the putter at The Doral early in March and began working with it as he returned to play on the European Tour. He put the Rife Aussie Blade into play last week at The Volvo China Open where he recorded a 2nd Place Finish and improved his putting statistics significantly.
On a tense last day marked by low scores, the lead changed hands at least four times at The BMW Asian Open as the top European players hit form on the par 72 7,300-yard course on the final day. A seven under total of 281 found two players tied for the lead forcing a playoff. A magnificent chip to within a foot of the pin on the first playoff hole was all that was needed for the 25 year old to seal the victory at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club.
"The Aussie Blade putter has really been on fire," said Rife Putters COO Matt Molloy. "Already this season we’ve had several Top Ten’s, a victory at The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a 3rd Place Finish at The Masters and right now 13 year old amateur phenom, Dakoda Dowd, is putting it into play at her first LPGA Tour event, the Ginn Resorts & Clubs Open in Florida. Our usage numbers have been increasing on both the PGA and Champions Tour every week. Several of the top Tour players in the world have taken a real interest in the RollGroove Technology that our Two Bar and GR6 series putters offer."
According to the Darrell Survey, Rife ranked 3rd at The Champions Tour event this past weekend and had nine putters in play at the Nationwide Tour event. Week in and week out more and more of the Top Tour Professionals in the world are putting Rife Putters into play and winning with them.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
