Orlando, Florida – April 26, 2006 – Marriott Golf, the world’s largest resort golf management company, today announced that John Kajfasz has been named Senior Instructor at The Faldo Golf Institute, at Seaview Resort & Spa, in Galloway Township, NJ.
As the new Senior Instructor, Kajfasz will be responsible for leading the instructional team at the New Jersey-based Faldo Golf Institute (FGI), one of four FGI’s in the United States. Equipped with practice facilities that are first class, as well as a club fitting studio and state-of-the-art video swing analysis equipment, Kajfasz will oversee a wide variety of programs offered at FGI. The diverse curriculum, available for golfers of all skill levels, includes two and three day golf school programs, three-hour short game and full swing sessions, private lessons, swing analysis and club fitting sessions.
Prior to joining the Marriott team, Kajfasz served as Director of Instruction at the The First Tee of Niagara Falls, where he successfully managed The 2005 Golf Camp For Kids program, which featured instruction and teaching clinics for over 1,000 junior golfers. Kajfasz has over 15 years experience as a teaching professional at a variety of prestigious clubs, including stints at The Aronaimink Country Club in New Town Square, PA; Bay Hill Golf Club in Orlando, Florida; The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ and The Metropolitan Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. Kajfasz is the 1995 Georgia Section Long Drive Champion, and is a graduate of Ferris State University.
