Currently Seeking Retailers and Distributors In Norway, Sweden and Finland
LEAWOOD, KANSAS (May 3, 2006) – Expansion continues to be the theme of Accu-Length’s growth, where the expandable junior golf clubs continue to expand its sphere of influence by signing a distributor agreement for Scandanavia. Tee Off in Oslo, Norway will serve as the region’s master distributor, identifying retailers and distributors throughout the region to represent the award-winning junior golf clubs.
They join a quickly growing list of new Accu-Length accounts, both nationally and internationally. Tee Off joins distributors in Korea with Jason Golf, Japan with Bag Boy, Sports Life Asia in China, and Re Rock Sport in Ireland, as Accu-Length continues to widen its business overseas.
In the US, Golfsmith has just added the Accu-Length products in its current catalogue and The Golf Warehouse, the largest Internet golf retailer in the United States, recently signed on to distribute the revolutionary junior golf clubs and associated Accu-Length products. Golf USA, Roger Dunn’s, Wally’s in Texas, and the new PGA Superstores have also joined forces with Accu-Length to sell the products, which features the one-of-a-kind spacer system that enables the clubs to grow with the child.
Under the 1-year agreement with Tee Off, the new Accu-Length associates are licensed to advertise the Accu-Length brand.
"The new distributors will be calling on the leading chains in their areas and presenting the Accu-Length products at golf fairs and shows in their respective marketing areas," says Rick Rutter, President, COO and Founder of OnTrack Sports, LLC, makers of Accu-Length, the only Expandable Junior Golf Clubs. "We provide great pricing and support, including images and POP opportunities, for our overseas distributors, so we’re confident they will have great success.
"Accu-Length continues to grow at a remarkable rate as more and more customers learn about the awesome technology that is the core of our product line, as well as the short-term and long-term value our clubs provide," adds Rutter. "Because the spacer system allows the clubs to expand and grow as the child grows, users are realizing they can save several hundred dollars over the life of the clubs, as opposed to using conventional junior golf clubs that have to be replaced after the child experiences a growth spurt.
"And more importantly, Accu-Length’s expandable club technology also creates consistency through their custom fit clubs for juniors that has long been so important to adult golfers. Junior golfers can now develop a repeatable swing motion and muscle memory that produces more consistent swings, resulting in straighter shots and a more enjoyable golf experience for kids. No other company, besides Accu-Length, can say their clubs grow in direct proportion to their user’s swing."
Accu-Length is not only continuing to expand in its scope, but also in its product line. The new 250cc driver has a 11-degree loft, a stainless steel head and a large sweet spot. It’s available in Accu-Length’s top selling lengths for golfers 51 to 59 inches tall and 55 to 62 inches tall and has the same custom fit and expandable shaft technology that’s the trademark of all Accu-Length shafts. The driver is sold separately from Accu-Length’s boxed starter sets and comes in both right-hand and left-hand models. Accu-Length’s starter sets continue to be the heart and soul of the company’s product line. There’s also a new SS stainless steel mallet putter and the new Accu-Length Junior Golf Glove, which is made from a combination of fine Cabretta leather and strategically-placed synthetics to provide the youngster with the right
fit. Additionally, Accu-Length has launched a retail display unit designed to house the new drivers, gloves and starter sets into an effective retail sales presence.
Accu-Length’s one-of-a-kind spacer system is made from high-grade aluminum that lock into the shaft. Quality stainless steel is used in the manufacturing of the products.
"There is a tremendous amount of caring and craftsmanship that go into the development and manufacturing of all Accu-Length products," says Rutter. "People all around the world are hearing about our great new technology and they want it!"
Another reason for consumer desirability is the fact that Accu-Length makes the best shafts available for junior golfers. Torque, or twisting, is very important in the manufacturing of golf clubs, and Accu-Length’s 2-piece shaft, with its spacer system inserts, have a very low torque to provide outstanding stability and remarkably straighter shots at impact.
"Testing on an Iron Byron at Golf Labs clearly shows that we have a very straight hitting club with low dispersion, especially compared against leading competitors," says Rutter. "The Iron Byron does not tell a lie!"
Accu-Length is the only expandable junior golf club on the market. A one-of-a-kind spacer system allows Accu-Length to grow with the junior golfer without any sacrifice to the product’s quality. Accu-Length’s product line is known for its professional quality, with stainless steel heads and filament wound graphite shafts.
