Maruman Launches New Custom Fit Irons

TEMECULA, Calif. — As golfers around the world recognize the enormous game improvement benefits of custom fit clubs, Maruman Golf — the Pacific Rim’s leading name in ultra-premium golf equipment — unveils three all-new, high-performance irons, specifically designed for custom club-fitting.

For more than 35 years, Maruman Golf has offered high-end, completely-assembled or finished golf clubs typical of original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s), however, the new irons mark the first time Maruman-branded golf clubs will be offered in a comprehensive custom-fitting environment. Working in a strategic partnership with Swing Science of Indianapolis, Ind., Maruman is releasing three iron designs — two cast designs and one forged model, all of which will be offered to full-time custom clubmakers meeting select criteria.

"We’re very excited about bringing the Maruman brand to golfers throughout North America, South America and Europe and providing them with the ability to purchase Maruman golf equipment in a totally custom-fit environment," says Howard Miller, president of Swing Science, one of the industry’s fastest-growing golf equipment distributors. "By providing Maruman clubheads through our highly qualified network of Certified Rifle Centers, golfers will receive an extremely high-end, custom-fit golf club by matching up ultra-premium Maruman iron heads with the world’s most technically advanced steel shafts in Rifle®."

The new Maruman irons are incredibly unique in the world of clubmaking:

M-Series

The M-Series iron is designed for intermediate to advanced golfers. Featuring a half-cavity design and a rounded four-way sole, the M-Series promotes solid, true shots even from off-center hits. A thin top line and the use of soft 18-8ph steel makes the M-Series look as great as it feels.

M-Series Pro

The M-Series Pro iron features a muscle cavity design allowing the intermediate to advanced golfer to work the ball. Utilizing 18-8ph super soft steel, this iron has the look, feel and playability of a true forged club with the forgiveness of a cast design.

Maruman Forged

The Maruman Forged iron is truly a players club all in a mid-size design. A unique face and neck shape combined with a larger hitting area allow the advanced golfer to shape shots while maintaining definitive control. Unlike a standard forged design, the mid-size Maruman Forged holds its line and retains distance even on less-than-perfect shots.
