Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf lived up to it’s title as "The Fastest Growing Shaft On Tour" again as they recorded several Top Finishes and found their way into the bags of several new players on the Tour this past weekend. AccuFLEX is quickly catching up to the large OEM shaft manufacturers and the introduction of the new Evolution Lite peaked the interest of several of the Top Players on the Tour. AccuFLEX Golf’s Evolution shaft was in both the Driver and Fairway Wood of the Top 25 finisher at the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans and the new Evolution Lite shaft ranked 4th in Driving Accuracy for the tournament.
The PGA Tour players aren’t the only ones making the switch to AccuFLEX shafts though. AccuFLEX Golf’s ICON Lite captured a T11th Finish on the Champions Tour at The FedEx Kinko’s Classic this past weekend as well.
"The introduction of the Evolution Lite on the PGA Tour was incredible," said Todd Casssidy, Vice President of AccuFLEX Golf. "Finishing 4th in driving accuracy is something that we are very proud of. We’ve taken the Nano Technology we first introduced last year to a whole new level with the new Evolution Lite and the Tour players are really responding to it."
AccuFLEX Golf’s Evolution became the first Nano-Technology shaft to win on any PGA Tour at the Virginia Beach Open on April 24th of 2005. The Evolution Lite is the 2nd Nano Composite shaft designed and manufactured by AccuFLEX Golf. The Evolution Lite was designed to have the same feel and consistency of the original Evolution, however this shaft is lighter and has a slightly softer overall flex profile, which helps the shaft load more easily.
AccuFLEX Golf’s international design team uses the finest materials available along with the company’s unique, proprietary filament winding process to make its premium line of advanced design composite Golf Shafts.. AccuFLEX Golf shafts have Won A Tour Championship, Three Major Championships, Twelve Tour Wins (on various PGA Tour’s), Hundreds of Top Ten Finishes and 11 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships, in the past three years.
