Plus, Four of the Top 5 Play Nickent and 3DX is again the # 1 most played hybrid
The winner of the BMW Charity Pro Am at the Cliffs used a Nickent 3DX DC Ironwood in his first-ever Nationwide Tour win Sunday, Nickent Golf’s third Nationwide Tour victory in the last year. Four of the top 5 finishers were playing Nickent’s new 3DX DC Ironwoods at the event.
In his 83rd Nationwide Tour event, the champion birdied the par five 17 hole to shoot 13 under, earning him $112,500 and jumping him up to 5th on the Nationwide Tour money list.
"You never know when it’s going to be your turn," said the BMW winner. "There are so many good players out here on this tour. It’s a relief to finally win."
One of the top five finisher, Jeff Quinney, stated why he thought Nickent hybrids were showing up all over the leader board; "I have a lot of confidence with my Nickent hybrid. When I need a straight shot off the tee or a high soft shot into a par five, I can always count on it."
Ten of the top 25 players on the Nationwide Tour money list are using 3DX hybrids and with 38 clubs in play last week , Nickent was the # 1 hybrid for the third straight event.
"It is such a thrill for us every time we get a win on this tour," said Nickent CEO Michael Lee. "When a player wins with your golf club, it is the ultimate validation to why we are out here. Our main goal is to give players a better chance at winning and to help them graduate to the next level. That is the Nickent philosophy with the Nationwide Tour."
"In a week where a record number of hybrids were in play, to have the winner and three others finish in the Top 5, we know this golf club was perfect for this golf course and that we really made a huge difference," continued Lee. "That is a very satisfying feeling for me."
