Company Scores Big In First Appearance At Sacramento, Ca. Event
LEAWOOD, KANSAS (May 5, 2006) – Accu-Length’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs enjoyed one of its best shows of the year in sales and public recognition this past weekend when it made its first appearance at the 31st Annual Haggin Oaks Golf Expo in Sacramento, CA., the largest consumer golf expo in the country.
With thousands of customers attended the expo, which was held April 28-30 at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, Accu-Length continued the success it has enjoyed since debuting last January. The company’s offering of a free 5-iron with the purchase of a starter set was an initial draw and impetus that sparked sales. But, once consumers viewed and experienced the revolutionary products, they realized that Accu-Length’s quality, cost savings and proven ability to create a repeatable swing that stimulates enjoyment and lower scores for youngsters made it a product they had to have.
"Being at the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo was a great experience for Accu-Length, both from a sales perspective and a company perspective," says John Dougherty, Vice President of Sales for OnTrack Sports, LLC, makers of Accu-Length, the only Expandable Junior Golf Clubs. "The Haggin Oaks Golf Expo had many of the leading companies in the golf industry in attendance. In that kind of sales environment, and with so many people coming to the show, it is a tribute to our products that we did as well as we did. They literally flew out of our booth.
"The Haggin Oaks Expo was a tremendous show, both in the way it was run and the amount of consumer traffic it generated. I intend for Accu-Length to return to the Expo for many years to come," adds Dougherty. "Ken Morton Jr., the head merchandiser at Haggin Oaks, is to be commended for a job extremely well done. He is a true professional in every aspect I can think of. No wonder he’s recognized as one of the most respected retailers in golf."
"Accu-Length set the world on fire," says Ken Morton, Jr. with Haggin Oaks, commenting on the company’s overwhelmingly successful showing at the event. "We sold all of their stock during this show and my email box is currently overflowing with orders for more of their clubs. Parents and kids understood the benefits of the expandable technology in regards to not only cost-savings, but the importance of being able to develop a repeatable swing motion. We’re extremely excited to be part of their retail team."
Accu-Length has rapidly moved to the forefront of the junior golf club market because of its one-of-a-kind spacer system, which enables the club to lengthen and grow as the child grows, thereby eliminating the need to constantly purchase new clubs year in and year out. Over a 5-year period, that equates to a savings of up to $600
Savings are only one important reason why parents are finding that Accu-Length’s custom fit clubs are the right fit for their youngsters. Accu-Length’s expandable club technology creates consistency in their swings for juniors that has long been so important to adult golfers. This helps junior golfers develop a repeatable swing motion and muscle memory which produces more consistent swings, resulting in straighter shots, longer hits, lower scores and most importantly, a more enjoyable golf experience for kids.
Accu-Length’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs were named Best New Equipment Product at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.
