REDMOND, Wash. — Bite Footwear posted record sales at the 31st Haggin Oaks Golf Expo "America’s Largest Golf Demo Days" recently. Bite had an increase in sales of 65 percent above their monthly average in only three days, according to Ken Morton Jr., Vice President of Retail & Marketing at Haggin Oaks.
"Bite has consistently been a leader in cutting edge golf footwear design since they joined our industry," said Morton. "In today’s business climate, vendors must differentiate themselves from their competition and offer pointed features, benefits and designs that appeal to the customer. With their designs, sandals, custom footbeds and A/Cs, it’s evident to see that Bite has had a major effect on golf shoes in our industry and we sell it very well as a result."
Haggin Oaks was named the "Best of the Best" Public Golf Shop in America by Golf World Business/Golf Digest in January.
While at the Golf Expo Bite took the opportunity to train and certify four Haggin Oaks salespeople in the proper fitting system giving them a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of Bite’s golf shoes. The newest Team Bite members are:
