REDMOND, Wash. — Bite Footwear, the company that revolutionized the golf shoe industry in comfort and athletic performance, started off 2006 with strong spring sales. Leading the way for Bite is the Golf AC 2 and the Ripped shoes from their Biotrac series along with their Orthosport and Golf and Travel series.
"We are very pleased with the continued success of our products," said Tom Cox, Bite National Sales Manager. "We constantly strive to provide our customers with the most comfortable and performance oriented golf footwear."
The company improved their highly successful, trend-setting predecessor, the Golf AC, with the Golf AC 2 by adding the exclusive patent pending footframe construction and BioTrac outsole for foot support. The shoes are popular because they are lightweight, mesh and washable. Ripped, a fast, sleek, best-in-class shoe came out at Christmas time and has been a hot selling item ever since. The Ripped model comes with a two-year limited waterproof guarantee and a built in arch support for added comfort.
For years Bite has made footwear that is both comfortable and performance oriented. Since some customers wear custom orthotics or over-the-counter footbeds, Bite decided to make a true performance sandal that doesn’t force you to leave your proper fit at home.
"While building on our roots of sandals and alternative footwear, we have taken the company to the next level tackling good foot health with the Biotrac and Orthosport series," he said.
The Biofit:2T, from the Orthosport line, is biomechanically designed to your foot, promoting comfort, foot health and more accurate golf shots. Two footbeds are included for either more cushioning or support.
The sales of the Golf and Travel series show that this hybrid shoe is definitely one of choice for the outdoorsman on the go. Whether it’s a business trip to Atlanta, an overnighter to Vegas, or a vacation to Hawaii, you can now travel lighter with one hybrid shoe for all activities.
In developing their exclusive Golf & Travel series of hybrid shoes, Bite decided to work with the most technologically advanced outsole producer in the world. Since 1935 Vibram has been the leader in outsole technology, leading the way in hiking, military, fire, industrial and racing outsoles.
