PLANO, TEXAS, May 16, 2006 – There were more Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) hybrids in play this past weekend on the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour, and Nationwide Tour, combined, than any other manufacturer, according to data compiled by the Darrell Survey. It was the second time this year that Adams Golf has claimed the #1 hybrid ranking of the combined tours.
"The accomplishment is a reflection of the great products we continue to develop in R&D and the high level of service our Tour Staff provides on a weekly basis," said Max Puglielli, director of tour operations. "Having the #1 hybrid across the board is a great achievement for any company, and since Adams doesn’t have as many tour pros on payroll like other club manufacturers, our golf clubs must perform at a level these elite golfers demand and appreciate."
For the eleventh consecutive Champions Tour event, Adams Golf claimed the #1 spot in the hybrid and fairway wood count, respectively. The Boeing Championship at Sandestin was the fourth straight tournament that Adams Golf topped the overall wood count as well.
